Meet Margaret Comisky
Caregiver Coach
My name is Margaret Comisky, and my goal is to help families peacefully navigate the experience of having a loved one age. It can be uncertain. It can feel very reactive. At times, you can feel helpless and lost. I get it. I can help you simplify the process in a manner that brings you clarity and peace.

Over the past decade, I've walked alongside families addressing age-related issues in medical settings, caregiver support groups, and in clinical practice. I have always valued working with family members and caregivers who have convinced themselves that they are alone and nothing can change. There is another way. Let me show you.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a dual Master's Degree in Social Work and Gerontology (the study of aging). I weave my evidence-based clinical experience, educational background, and experience working in a diversity of settings into each coaching session to ensure our time together is practical and productive. I've seen resilience at its finest and have watched clients use the tools I teach to change their lives.

My coaching approach fundamentally believes we are a partnership. You bring the unique knowledge of your situation. I bring experience from working with hundreds of families undergoing a vast array of age-related issues. Together, we honestly address feelings, expectations, outcomes, and fears. We cultivate realistic expectations. We use humor. We create a plan. When the unpredictable happens, we create another plan. Caregiving is a process, and I'm here to walk alongside you on this journey.
